Layer 01 · cargoown warehouse
Physically opened and checked before the container is sealed.
Without it: You buy the photographs, not the goods. Nobody opened a carton before the container was sealed. What the factory actually made is something you find out about in Europe — six weeks later, with the money already paid.
Layer 02 · inspectionpre-shipment
Photo and video evidence, dated before shipment.
Without it: The defects travel with the goods. Return freight to China costs more than the batch is worth, so the batch never goes back. It is written off in your warehouse instead of the factory’s.
Layer 03 · documentsmatch the cargo
Paperwork that describes what is actually inside.
Without it: The container is held at the border. The description on the invoice does not match the cargo. Demurrage and storage accrue every day the file stays unresolved — and resolving it is now your job, in a language you do not speak.
Layer 04 · complianceper category
Conformity file assembled before the order, not after.
Without it: It clears customs. It still cannot be sold. A retail chain audit, a marketplace compliance check or a market-surveillance visit all end the same way: no technical file, no shelf. The goods are legally in the country and commercially worthless.
Layer 05 · importimporter of record
Declared on our own EU EORI, with duty and VAT settled.
Without it: Somebody has to be the importer. Without an EU EORI you cannot be it, so another name goes on the entry — and every obligation attached to that name follows them, not the seller. If nobody takes it, the goods stay at the port.
Layer 06 · market accessarticle 16
A named economic operator established in the Union.
Without it: No responsible person, no market. Regulation (EU) 2023/988, Article 16: a consumer product may be placed on the EU market only if an economic operator established in the Union is responsible for it. Marketplaces delist first and ask afterwards.
