Nine steps. At each one it is written down what we do and what we need from you, because most supply problems are not caused by distance — they are caused by both sides assuming the other one was handling it.
You can enter at any step. If you already have a factory, start at four; if you already import, we stop at eight.
We ask what the product is, target quality, volumes, the date it has to land and where. If a specification exists we work from it; if it does not, we help write one.
From you: A description, a reference product or a competitor's item. A photograph is worth a page of adjectives.
We search the Chinese-language market, filter by registered scope and real category history, and verify each candidate in the state register by USCC.
From you: Nothing yet — you receive a shortlist rather than a single recommendation.
Every candidate quotes against one written specification, in Mandarin, so the numbers are comparable rather than a set of different products at different prices.
From you: You approve the supplier and the price. We never commit your money without that.
For larger or regulated orders we visit: equipment, capacity, quality systems, working conditions, and whether the certificates on the wall belong to that company.
From you: A written report with photographs, and our plain view on whether we would place your order there.
Physical samples are produced and assessed. The winning sample becomes the reference and the specification is fixed in writing.
From you: You approve the sample. From this point everything is checked against that document, not against memory.
We follow the run rather than wait for a shipping notice, and raise a systemic fault while there is still time to correct it.
From you: Progress reports with photographs. You should never have to ask where an order is.
The batch comes onto our own warehouse in Guangzhou or Yiwu and is checked against the specification: quantity, dimensions, function, labelling, packaging.
From you: An inspection report before anything ships. If the batch fails, the decision to rework, part-ship or cancel is yours.
Consolidation into one consignment, export documents prepared, and the mode of transport chosen backwards from your deadline — sea, rail, road or air.
From you: A landed cost and a lead time fixed in the contract, not an ex-works price that grows later.
Entry into the EU on our own EORI as importer of record, or full documentary support if you clear on yours. Then delivery to your address.
From you: A complete document set — invoice, packing list, transport document, customs entry and product documentation.
Notice where the money moves. Verification, audit and samples all happen before a deposit is paid, and inspection happens before a container is sealed.
That is the whole design. Every check sits at the last moment when the problem is still someone else’s to fix — the factory’s, not yours. Move any of them one step later and the cost of the same mistake multiplies.
It depends far more on production than on transport, and we quote per project rather than publish a number. Sourcing and sampling for a new product typically runs weeks; a repeat order from an approved factory skips straight to step six. The honest answer for any specific case comes after step one.
Yes, and many clients do. If you already have a factory, we start at the audit or straight at inspection. If you already import, we stop at step eight. Nothing in this sequence obliges you to take the steps before it.
You hear it from us first, with photographs, while there is still something to be done about it. Batches fail inspection and factories miss dates — that is normal in manufacturing. What is not normal, and what we do not do, is letting a container sail with a problem we already knew about.
Depending on the structure, either our Chinese company or our Latvian company. Both are registered and both numbers are published on our site, so you can check the counterparty before you sign anything.
Describe the product and the volume. We come back with a workable structure, a quote including landed cost, and an honest lead time — or with the reasons we would not take it on.
